Healthy Babies
September 9 is international Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness day while the month of September is FASD Awareness month in Canada. To raise awareness of the disorder, we're visually reminding customers to support those around them who are either pregnant or planning to be pregnant. Remember that no amount or type of alcohol is safe while pregnant.
During September, our stores will display visuals of a man and woman with the message "Healthy babies need everyone's support. Alcohol and pregnancy don't mix." For healthy babies, those who are pregnant or thinking of pregnancy need the support of everyone around them.
