Thank you BC Liquor Stores' customers for your support during the 2011 Dry Grad fundraising campaign! A total of $512,604 was raised for the organization of alcohol-free graduation celebrations!

Every spring, BC Liquor Store customers are invited to support dry grad (alcohol-free events for graduating high school students) celebrations by donating $1 to support high schools in their community organize alcohol-free graduation celebrations.

During the 2011 campaign, customers receive an indivdually wrapped chocolate mint wafer in recognition of their donation. All money collected is passed on to local school districts.

This year (2011), 55 school districts (more than 250 high schools) are participating and contributions by liquor store customers top up funds raised by parents, students and teachers who work all year to raise funds for dry graduation activities. During February 24 - March 31, 2011, BC Liquor Stores' Dry Grad campaign raised a total of $512,604!
